I'm unable to use your templates. I paste everything in the edit html section and try and preview it, and voila, all i see is a whole bunch of nothing! Please, help!

Hello anyone, I am wondering whether there is a template for blogger that gives you a background that you can modify. That is, in your standard blogger you post your words or images in discrete areas, the back ground remains the same, ususally a color or a fixed photo. Is there a way of tweaking your background so you can say have a color but do a drawing on it as well in illustrator or something?
In other words a way to draw on the back ground. when you post a post the post will cover that part of the background you have drawn on.
Is this already done?
If anyone can help please do.
