The Hobbit template is just great. I love it very much. But, I have got a problem with the heading.

As instructed on the READ ME of the download,
**4. THE MENUBAR

Go to the Page Elements tab, and add a Link List Page Element to the top of your Blog.

This is the menubar.

Without the menubar, the template will not render correctly (the dagger up left seems to be broken).**

I tried to create a new Page Element but there is no changes on the heading.
Beside, how can I add the "HOBBITS, ELVES, DRAWFS" as in http://beautifulbeta.wikidot.com/local--files/blogger-templates/hobbittemplate.PNG?

Hi

I use this template at my blog, and I really like it.

I saw some people had the same problem as me: the sword appeared broken in internet explorer and the header was missing.
I found a way to fix this. You have to replace the #header-wrapper section with the following:

#header-wrapper {
background: url(http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z95/emmaalvarezshop/blog/bgcontent.gif) no-repeat;
float: left;
text-align: center;
width: 632px;
padding-top: 48px;
}

html>body #header-wrapper {
background: url(http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z95/emmaalvarezshop/blog/bgcontent.gif) no-repeat;
float: left;
text-align: center;
width: 632px;
padding-top: 0px;
}

---

This makes internet explorer use the first code because IE can't understand what follows "html>body".
For other browsers, in CSS, the 2nd code is always applied.

So if you want to add this to your great template, it will work perfect for all browsers and people.

yes, this works for ie6 and firefox but still the sword is broken in ie7. does anybody have a solution?

(i have also mailed this to emma.)

sorry here I think i am asking a stupid question here but…
I need to know how I can upload the hobbit template into my blog.
Are there any instructions for doing so?

Do I just copy the code from the xml file into the Edit HTML section..
Sorry I am dumb….please teach me.

Hi all!!
i'm trying to use this layout to my boyfriend blog on blogspot.

When i upload the file (following READ ME instructions) appare this message:

I widget verranno eliminati (widget's were be eliminated)
Conferma l'eliminazione dei seguenti widget. Tutti i dati di configurazione dei widget andranno perduti. (confirm widget elimination. all widget's configuration will be lose)

After it… i save the layout, i go to the Page Elements tab, and i add a Link List Page Element to the top of the blog.
i save and i preview the blog. the topo links not work…

Where is the problem?…. i follow the read me precisely..
